Suggestions for Jon Jones for the future of the light heavyweight division are not pleasing the other fighters. Recently, the belt holder showed his desire to see a fight between two of his potential future challengers, Alexander Gustafson e Daniel Cormier, so that the winner will face him in the fight for the title.
Furthermore, Jones criticized the marriage of Gustafsson's last fight, against Jimi Manuwa, suggesting that the UFC wants to facilitate the Swede's path towards a new title fight.

Davis continued: “He put himself in an interesting situation. 'Why not have a light heavyweight tournament and put the winner against Jon Jones?' That's pretty much what he's saying. Let's call it Ultimate Jon Jones Fighting Championship”, he criticized.
