Dutch Semmy Schilt should return to the UFC soon. The current three-time K-1 World GP champion could leave the Japanese organization and sign with the UFC, an event in which Schilt has already had two fights, beating Pete Williams, but being submitted by Josh Barnett at UFC-32.
“My manager together with K-1 is trying to make a deal with the UFC, I'm ready to return to the octagon. Now I want to be the UFC heavyweight champion and this time I'm going to prepare correctly. I would like to face Tim Sylvia and fight Fedor again”, said Schilt, whose last appearance in MMA took place in May of last year. On that occasion, the Dutchman submitted South Korean Min Soo Kim with a triangle in a fight valid for Hero's.
