Wand and Sonnen exchange provocations and the atmosphere heats up at TUF Brasil 3

The atmosphere heated up in the second episode of TUF Brasil 3. After the last eight selections for a place in the house, Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen, technicians of the edition, had the first moment of rivalry.

With the 16 athletes qualified to enter the house present, Wand demanded that the North American apologize for the provocations he made to Brazil during the promotion of the fight against Anderson Silva. But Sonnen didn't accept it. Silva said he would not continue recording and Chael quipped: 'I accept your resignation'.

At this moment, Wanderlei threw his clipboard at Sonnen's feet and left for the changing rooms. A few moments later, the American went after him and in a conversation with the faces nearby tried to resolve the impasse.

Wand said: 'I don't want you to apologize to me, I want you to acknowledge to all those guys that you said the wrong things,' he said. In turn, Chael tried to explain once again. 'Look Wanderlei, that's how things work. One guy says something, the other responds and then they hit each other in the octagon and it's all over,' he said. 'I won't apologize in 1000 years,' he added.

Still unsatisfied, Wanderlei Silva he returned to where the athletes were and stated that Sonnen would apologize at the time of the fight between them, on May 30th. Despite this, the Brazilian did not miss the opportunity to push his rival. The impasse delayed the selection of teams, which will only be divided in the next program.

In the first round of the night, Rick Monster showed that it could be one of the biggest highlights of this edition. Facing the well-known Alexandre Bebezão, the athlete from Campinas wasted no time studying and immediately set out to define the fight. As soon as he closed the distance he landed a good combination of punches that took his rival to the ground. During the fall, Bebezão was hit once again and ended up being knocked out.

In the fight involving two former Bellator athletes, better for Marcos Foot. The athlete from São Paulo started the duel against Big Monster by measuring the distance in front of his rival, who had a larger wingspan. Lyoto lives up to his nickname and advances

Marcio Alexandre entered the TUF tryouts with the nickname 'Lyoto' because he had a similar game to the former light heavyweight champion and current challenger for the middleweight belt. And as far as the eliminatory fight goes, he lived up to the comparisons.

Against Giuliano Alemão, Marcio quickly controlled the distance, moving around the octagon and quickly entering the range of action to avoid being counterattacked. Alemão still tried attacks with a lot of heart, but with quick dodges, reminiscent of Machida, the athlete from Santa Catarina remained risk-free.

After opening up the front in the first half, Marcio Lyoto ended the dispute at the beginning of the second round. Vitor miranda

The 'courtship' of Vitor miranda with TUF it's old. He tried to enter the house as a middleweight in the first edition, but ended up stopping at the tryouts. In the second year of the program, he was a technical assistant for Rodrigo Minotauro. But in the third edition he managed to secure his place as heavyweight and is in contention.

In the fight against Bruno Blindado, Vitor showed all his striking technique and punished his rival with excellent combinations of kicks and punches. In turn, Blindado lived up to his nickname and bravely resisted the attacks.

In the second round, however, the end came in a plastic way. Vitor put Bruno against the bars and worked with short blows until he moved away and released a beautiful high kick, which connected with Blindado's head. The fighter was already knocked out and Miranda celebrated the triumph.
