Alex Poatán found an unusual way to train to fight against Israel adesanya. In Karaoun, Lebanon, the middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) wore an Ushanka – a type of Russian cap – and performed the famous 'gauntlet' on the ice, as he prepares to face the Nigerian in a rematch for the UFC 287, which takes place on April 8. The record was published on social media.
“Cold and calculating”, wrote Poatan in his 'Instagram' official.

Kickboxing legend, Poatan switched to MMA permanently two years ago and adjusts his game at the gym led by Glover Teixeira. The fighter, to date, has four appearances in Ultimate and has a record of seven wins and one loss in his career.
The Brazilian, who arrived at Ultimate as the 'man to beat Israel adesanya' due to his history of victories in kickboxing, he confirmed his status and triumphed by knockout in the last round. He even achieved one of the biggest comebacks of the year, as the fight was heading towards a triumph for the Nigerian on points.
