The Ultimate organization announced this Friday (07) that it has expanded the reach of UFC Fight Pass, its online streaming service for on-demand content, from four (Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA) to 178 countries – including nations such as Afghanistan, East Timor and the Vatican. Unfortunately for Brazilian fans, despite the broad scope of the new list of countries covered by the service, Brazil remains off the list.

The announcement of the expansion of UFC Fight Pass takes place on the eve of the first major event to be broadcast exclusively on the platform in the United States, UFC Fight Night 37 – which features a duel between Alexander Gustafson and Jimi Manuwa as the main event. Despite not disclosing the number of subscriptions already made through the service, the organization states that the number has already exceeded the initial projection by 300%, according to the “MMA Fighting” website.

In addition, it offers exclusive programs produced by Ultimate and broadcasts, to the USA, the organization's main international events and TUF Brasil 3. For the North American public, who experienced the Fight Pass free for two months, the service has a monthly cost of US$9,99 (about R$23,40).
