The Brazilian Gesias Cavalcante was confirmed this Monday on the Dream 9 card, which takes place on May 26th in Japan. The ATT black belt will face the tough Japanese Tatsuya Kawajiri, considered one of the top in the lightweight division.
Gesias lost a streak of seven consecutive victories when he was defeated by Shinya Aoki in a unanimous decision by the judges, at Dream 2, held in April 2008, while Kawajiri submitted Ross Ebanez with a rear naked choke, at Dream 7, held in March this year.
