The Brazilian Anderson Silva took another big step towards his return to the octagon after the fracture suffered in the rematch against Chris Weidman, in December. On Tuesday night (25), through the official profile of his gym on Instagram, Spider released a short video of his boxing training with coach Marcos Morales.

The athlete used the tag “road to recovery” to mark the video, which received thousands of likes and dozens of comments in just a few hours. In the images, Anderson appears doing just simple sequences of blows and receiving some instructions from Morales.

At 38, Anderson Silva has a record of 33 wins and six losses. After almost seven years as middleweight champion and an undefeated streak of 16 wins, a record in UFC history, Anderson ended up defeated by Chris Weidman in July 2013. Six months later, in one of the most anticipated rematches in the organization's history, Spider was defeated again by the American after fracturing his left leg in the second round of the UFC 168 main fight.
