Controversial and irreverent, the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov hurried to start provocations against the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, his next opponent in the octagon. Khabib, who replaced compatriot Rustam Khabilov in the fight against UFC on FOX 11, announced on his profile on Facebook a photomontage in which he plays with Rafael's name and a famous chocolate produced by an Italian confectionery.
“My dessert on the way to the titleshot (title dispute)”, wrote Nurmagomedov along with the image, which also brings another provocation to Rafael with the inscription “with jiu-jitsu flavor”. It is worth remembering that Khabib has a keen sense of humor and one of his main targets is precisely the gentle art and its practitioners. At the beginning of last year, in Brazil, the lightweight caught attention when he entered the weigh-in for his fight against Thiago tavares praised the Russian martial art sambo, to the detriment of BJJ. “If samba were easy, it would be called jiu-jitsu”, said the fighter's shirt.
On April 19th, in Orlando (USA), Rafael dos Anjos e Khabib Nurmagomedov face each other at UFC on FOX 11. In the main fight of the night, the Brazilian Fabricio Werdum faces Hawaiian Travis Browne. The winner of the duel should become the next challenger to the heavyweight champion Cain Velazquez, who is currently recovering from surgery.
