The game producer Electronic Arts published, this Monday (10), a short video that shows more details about the EA Sports UFC game. In it, you can see the incredible graphic detail of the fighters, including Georges St Pierre, Chuck Liddell, Ronda Rousey and the Brazilian Wanderlei Silva, now with its characteristic wrist warming.
Furthermore, the way in which the producer captured images of the fighters in order to reproduce them digitally is also presented. “We digitize UFC fighters using the most advanced image capture technology. The high-resolution images allowed us to create highly detailed individual models of each fighter's body and face, at a level that was not previously possible,” explained Brian Hayes, the company's creative director.
The EA Sports UFC game will be the first in the partnership between Ultimate and the producer Electronic Arts, also responsible for the FIFA franchise in video games. The title, available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, should be released in the second quarter of 2014.
