After yet another successful featherweight title defense against Ricardo Lamas at UFC 169, the Brazilian José Aldo He took the opportunity to extend his stay in New York and tour the largest city in the United States. The fighter went to Madison Square Garden and followed the match between the New York Knicks and the Portland Trail Blazer, valid for the NBA (North American basketball league) regular season. After the game, Aldo published, on his official profile on Facebook, photos with star Carmelo Anthony and boxer Manny Pacquiao.

After six title defenses in the main MMA organization on the planet, the man from Manaus is now starting to plan a super fight against the lightweight champion Anthony Pettis. According to UFC president Dana White, Aldo should give up his belt and fight his rival in the 70 kg category.
