Romero, 36 years old, is undefeated after three fights in the UFC. He beat, by knockout or technical knockout, Clifford Starks, Ronny Markes and Derek Brunson, being his only defeat, for Rafael Feijão, it was in 2011, still with Strikeforce.

Tavares is on a five-fight winning streak, beating Dongi Yang, Tom Watson, Riki Fukuda, Bubba McDaniel and Lorenz Larkin. Like Romero, Tavares has only one loss in MMA, to Aaron Simpson, in July 2011.

The other fight added will be in the lightweight category, between Pat Healy and Jorge masvidal. Healy made a good UFC debut, submitting Jim Miller, but he was caught in the anti-doping test and saw the fight end without result. Afterwards, he suffered two defeats in a row, to Khabib Nurmagomedov e Bobby Green. Masvidal, in turn, was on a good run of results, with two wins within the UFC, but lost to Rustam Khabilov in November.

So far, three Brazilians have already been confirmed for UFC on Fox 11. Fabricio Werdum will face Travis Browne in the heavyweight category, while in the lightweight division, Edson Barboza face Donald Cerrone, and Rafael dos Anjos measure forces with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
