Marlon moraes and Sheymon Moraes closed the preliminary card of PFL 10 2022, an event held this Friday (25). In a Brazilian duel, Marlon started his striking game well, but was surprised by a blow from Sheymon in the third round and ended up being knocked out. The confrontation was valid for the rooster division (up to 61,2kg).
Moraes now feels the bitter taste of his fifth knockout defeat – also the fifth of his career. The Brazilian has 23 positive results, 11 negative results and one draw.

Marlon Moraes starts well, but ends up being knocked out by Sheymon Moraes
Marlon took the first initiatives and surprised by using an overhand, feinting and putting the fight on the ground. Moraes already moved to half guard and tried the katagatame, but gave up the grip to score with punches from above. The fight returned to the feet, with Sheymon applying a good cross from close range, in addition to another overhand from above.
If it worked, Marlon moraes repeat. The former challenger for the UFC bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg.) started with a fall and, with strategy, put the fight back on the ground. He was on top, but saw Sheymon recover and return to the fight on his feet.
The two fighters came back in one piece for the third round, but Sheymon applied a cross that 'dismantled' Marlon. The fighter continued on top, hitting hard and saw the referee interrupt.
