After the state of Pennsylvania regulates MMA on February 27th, the UFC could land in 2009 in the capital Philadelphia. This Thursday, the president of Ultimate, Dana White, confirmed the rumors about the event taking place.
“It’s a great fight city,” Dana said of Philadelphia. “When you think about fighting you talk about Las Vegas, New York and Philadelphia too. I saw some of the best boxing matches of my life in Philadelphia. It’s a city of struggle”, concluded Dana White.
Dana White also confirmed that the UFC still believes it will obtain the sport's regulations to hold an event in New York later this year.
