Cris Cyborg at Strikeforce in April

Away from MMA competitions since the end of EliteXC, Chris Cyborg is close to returning to fighting. The Chute Boxe athlete is on the card for the next Strikeforce edition, which takes place on April 11th, at HP Paivilion, in San Jose, California. The Brazilian will face the Japanese Hitomi akano, which has a record of 14 wins and 5 losses.

Cris comes from a victory over Yoko Takahashi in the judges' unanimous decision, at EliteXC, in October, while Akano also comes from a victory over Hari Hari, via arm-bar submission, at Jewels 1, held in November.
