Just over a month away from returning to the octagon, at UFC Fight Night 36 in Jaraguá do Sul (SC), Rodrigo Damm intensified his training routine at the X-Gym gym. Maybe even too much. On the night of this Thursday (09), the Espírito Santo published an image on his profile on Twitter in which he appears with stitches on his eyebrow, after suffering a cut in the region during training.
“Look at the results of the training… (laughs)”, wrote the athlete along with the image published on the microblogging network. Despite what happened, Damm was not worried about the possibility of the cut affecting his performance in the fight and responded optimistically to a fan's message about his result in the fight.
On the 15th of February, Rodrigo Damm faces Ivan Batman at UFC Fight Night 36. In the main fight of the event, which takes place in the city of Jaraguá do Sul (SC), the former light heavyweight belt holder Lyoto Machida faces the Armenian-Dutch Gegard Mousasi, in a match valid for the middleweight category. In the co-main fight, the former champion of the now extinct Strikeforce Ronaldo Jacare faces the Frenchman Francis Carmont.
