For causing the death of one of the robbers, Torrez could be charged with murder. The athlete's lawyer, however, does not believe in any type of conviction, since, according to him, he acted in self-defense and was “fighting for his own life”. Despite his success in fighting robbers, in MMA Joseph Torrez has a very discreet record: with just one victory and five defeats.
