The Brazilian Anderson Silva and the canadian Georges St Pierre have long been the subject of speculation about a hypothetical superfight between the two. Nowadays, however, the reality of both is far from the Octagon. At the end of last year, GSP retired from MMA for an indefinite period and gave up the welterweight belt. Anderson, in turn, is recovering from the fracture suffered in the rematch against Chris Weidman and has not yet declared whether he will fight again or retire. Despite this, Spider's manager, Jorge “Joinha” Guimarães, envisions a duel between Silva and St. Pierre upon their return to Ultimate.

Last December 28th, Anderson Silva was defeated again by Chris Weidman, in the main fight of UFC 168. The Brazilian fractured his left leg after having a low kick blocked by his opponent in the second round of the fight. After the incident, Anderson underwent surgery at the site, in which a metal rod was placed in his tibia and began physiotherapy. Already Georges St Pierre is enjoying a sabbatical period, after announcing his retirement from MMA on December 13th. The announcement came a few days after another GSP title defense, at UFC 167, against John hendricks.

I'm a fan of Anderson but he has to retire, after what happened he can't do it anymore.
Stop this.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Give it time.
I would like to see him fight Vitor Belfort, and Jon Jones, would he be able to handle it?????????
I broke my arm once, it took six months to get better, but about two years to feel confident. Anderson should stop, because if he tries another kick like that he will break again. this blood sport should end
This way they will kill the old man…
THE NEXT LEG AND THE OTHER LEG, JUST FOR A LAUGH THIS GUY LOVES TO BE BEAT BY GRINGOS THAT'S WHY HE LIVES IN THE UNITED STATES. GOOD LUCK BAG OF BEATING.
They could tell the manager to go there and fight him then, or maybe he didn't see the guy's foot, it's over, son,
