The year has barely started and the Ultimate calendar is already officially open in 2014. This Friday (03), in Singapore, the official weigh-in for UFC Fight Night 34 took place. All fighters passed the scale and confirmed their fights at the event this Saturday (04). But not all athletes had an easy time making weight. The Brazilian Luiz Besouro, who faces Kiichi Kunimoto on the main card, missed the welterweight weight limit on his first attempt and had to go naked to finally reach 77,6 kg.
Another highlight of the weigh-in was the irreverence of Hyun Gyu Lim, who is in the main fight of the night against the former Strikeforce champion Tarec saffiedine. Gyu Lim, selected at the last minute to face the Belgian after the cut Jake ellenberger, appeared at the weigh-in wearing sunglasses and kept the accessory on even when facing his rival.
