Se Anderson Silva ended up defeated in the rematch against Chris Weidman at UFC 168 and was left without the middleweight belt, the Brazilian won another title that night: the highest-paid athlete at the event. With US$600 (around R$1,4 million), the Spider was ahead of the executioner Chris Weidman, which received US$400 (approximately R$944).
After the participants of the main fight of the night, heavyweight Josh Barnett appears, defeated by Travis Browne on the main card. The former heavyweight champion earned US$170 (around R$400). Then comes Ronda Rousey. The champion of the women's bantamweight category took US$100 (approximately R$336), half of the bonus amount for her victory. Rousey's value does not include the US$175 (approximately R$413) for “Fight of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” bonuses.
