The UFC announced that the lightweights Bobby Green and Abel Trujillo will face each other at UC 169, which will be held on February 1, 2014, in Newark, United States.
The two fighters last performed at the same event, UFC on Fox 9, on December 14th. On that occasion, Trujillo beat Roger Bowling by technical knockout in the second round, while Green beat Pat Healy in the judges' decision.

UFC 169 will feature two title fights. José Aldo defends the featherweight title against Ricardo Lamas, while, among bantamweights, the linear champion Dominick Cruz faces the interim, Renan Barao.
