Anderson Silva resumes partnership with Corinthians

Spider and the São Paulo club signed a 12-month contract and the Brazilian will feature the team's badge in the rematch against Chris Weidman at UFC 168

The partnership between Anderson Silva and Corinthians is remade. The agreement between the São Paulo club and the fighter had been interrupted before Spider's fight against Chris Weidman, in July, but this weekend the agreement was renewed for the athlete's next commitment.

The fighter signed a one-year contract, renewable for another year and which provides for monthly remuneration. The Spider will appear on the Corinthians shield in the rematch against Weidman, at UFC 168, on December 28, in Las Vegas.

The agreement between Anderson Silva and Corinthians began in August 2011. At the time, the fighter had three fights under the contract, beating Yushin Okami, Chael Sonnen e Stephan bonnar.
