The duel between the interim bantamweight champion Renan Barao and the holder of the linear belt Dominick Cruz is the highlight of the UFC 169 poster, which takes place on February 1, 2014, in Newark (USA). The image, released by the Ultimate organization this Wednesday (27), shows the main marks and numbers achieved by both the Brazilian and the North American throughout their careers.

Next to Dominick Cruz, the 19 victories on his record appear, in addition to the seven victories by knockout or submission and his unbeaten streak that has lasted six years. Barão, on the other hand, has a record of 33 victories, an incredible 21 fights won by interruption before the end of regulation time and the mark of eight years without knowing what a defeat is in MMA. The champions make history in the long-awaited duel for the definitive title of the under-61 kg division.

In addition to the confrontation between Barão and Cruz, another title fight on the event card is also highlighted on the poster: between the featherweight champion José Aldo and Ricardo Lamas. Holder of the belt since the creation of the 66 kg division in Ultimate, the man from Manaus José Aldo is seeking his sixth consecutive title defense against the North American challenger, who currently occupies second place in the official UFC rankings.
