The criticisms of Chael Sonnen about the promotion style of Alex Poatán they infuriated the Brazilian, who tried to hit back. After comments about posture outside the octagon, the kickboxing legend stated that 'trash talk' work is the easiest part of MMA and blasted the former fighter and current UFC commentator.
"Chael Sonnen, that's why you were never champion! Always worried about promoting himself. I like to do the most difficult thing, what you do is easy…”, wrote Poatan in his storiesInstagram'.

The answer in question came after Chael Sonnen cite 'disaster' in case of victory Alex Poatán. According to the current commentator, the São Paulo native cannot have the same capacity to promote fights as Israel adesanya and, therefore, he would not be a 'good champion' outside the Octagon.
Kickboxing legend, Alex reached gold weight in Ultimate and, since then, has appeared on three occasions. The Brazilian overcame Andreas Michailidis, Bruno Blindado and, in his last fight, he knocked out Sean Strickland in the first round to get a shot at the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg). In his career, now, there are six wins and one defeat.
In preparation to fight for the title, Poatan will face an 'old acquaintance' in UFC 281, scheduled to take place on November 12th this year. He measures forces against Israel adesanya, a rival since his kickboxing days, where he beat him in both encounters – the first by points and the second by knockout.
