After debuting in the UFC with victory, Adriano Martins returns to the octagon against a top 10 lightweight fighter. The Brazilian faces the North American Donald Cerrone, ninth in the rankings, at UFC on FOX 10, an event scheduled for January 25th, in Chicago. The announcement was made this weekend on the organization's official Twitter.
Adriano, who has an MMA record of 25 wins and six losses, debuted in Ultimate this month, when he submitted Daron Cruickshank in Goiânia at UFC Fight Night 32. The Manaus athlete has won six consecutive victories and has not lost since July 2011.
In its turn, Donald Cerrone tries to maintain the pace of recovery inside the Octagon. The American, who has a professional record of 21 wins and six losses, is going through a moment of oscillation in his career with alternating triumphs and setbacks. After being surpassed by the also Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos, Cerrone hit Evan dunham at UFC 167, an event held on the 16th.
The main fight of UFC on FOX 10, an event that will be broadcast on open TV throughout the United States, will be between Ben henderson e Josh thomson.
