The fight between Georges St PierreJohn hendricks at UFC 167 still generates controversy. After losing in a controversial decision by the judges, the American revealed that he was unable to unleash 100% of his punching power. Now, he cited the bandages as the biggest difficulty in not being able to put all his knockout power on GSP.

“Normally I ask for the bandages to be made very tight, and this time I didn’t. I remained silent. It's my fault, my problem. I couldn't hit as hard as I'm used to,” Hendricks said on the Dallas News website. The fighter also revealed that the bandages that were not so tight caused an injury to his wrists.

” This is what caused the injuries to my hands. The more they got injured, the more they bothered me and the better he felt. So I had to control my strength, but even though I attacked with 70% of my strength, my hands still hurt. Wait until I have the bandages done correctly. This only increases my confidence, because even with the way I was, I beat the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. I will come back even stronger,” he added.

The fight between Georges St PierreJohn hendricks was the main attraction of UFC 167, an event held on the 16th in Las Vegas.
