It's common to see citizens angry with their government, but former TUF 18 participant Cody Bollinger could get into trouble for expressing his displeasure. This is because Bollinger used his Facebook to criticize US President Barack Obama and said that he would love to give the head of state a beating, which could be framed as a threat.

“Obama is against Christianity and honors Islam. I'm getting sick of this fanaticism. I wouldn't mind spanking him once. Keep it up, Obama,” Bollinger wrote on his social media profile. The episode could cause problems for the fighter, as something similar happened to former Ultimate athlete Jacob Volkmann. After challenging Obama to a fight after UFC 125, Volkmann was “invited” to pay a visit to the United States Secret Service.

If Cody Bollinger has been involved in controversies in the Facebook, his time on TUF 18 was no different. First male choice on the reality show and one of the coach's big bets Miesha Tate, Bollinger did not make weight for his fight against Anthony Gutierrez and was summarily banned from the program, even during the recordings. Now, the bantamweight awaits his debut at the WSOF event.
