Jon Jones congratulates Amanda Nunes on milestone achieved at UFC 277: 'Welcome'

'Bones', who is still working on the transition to heavyweight, valued the 'Lionea' after her victory over Julianna Peña; she reached the top-5 of biggest winners in title fights

Amanda nunes is on the rise. After regaining the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg) in UFC 277, with victory over Julianna Pena In the judges' decision, the 'Lione' reached the select list of the five greatest fighters to win title fights in the organization's history.

At the top of the list, Jon Jones made a point of valuing the Brazilian's achievement and, in his 'Twitter' official (see below), tried to congratulate her. Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.) and in transition to heavyweight, the North American stated that 'numbers don't lie'. Nunes surpassed Matt hugs in the dispute. Georges St-Pierre, Demetrious Johnson e Anderson Silva are the other athletes on the list.

“Men lie, women lie, Numbers don’t. Welcome to the club, Amanda”, wrote Jones, in addition to placing the 'emoji' with the Brazilian flag in the publication.

With the victory over Julianna, Amanda reached her tenth victory for the belt, including names like Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate e Holly holm on the list. She is now four triumphs away from catching Jones in the organization's history.

O 'Bones', who reigned at light heavyweight, can still fight for the title, as he works towards his debut at heavyweight (up to 120,2kg.). Francis Ngannou e Stipe Miocic are considered as possible names for the MMA legend's debut in his new category.
