Currently working as a UFC commentator, Michael Bisping had the pleasure of sharing the Octagon with the legendary Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre. With one victory and one defeat, the Englishman took on the role of analyst and tried to resolve the doubts of those wondering: who would win the dream fight, 'Spider' or 'GSP'? In an excerpt published by 'MMA Junkie', the Englishman named his favorite and explained his positioning.

“In my prime, between 2009 and 2012, fighting at middleweight, I would choose Anderson Silva. Attention, despite everything, I believe it would be a very balanced confrontation. Georges, without a doubt, would come up with a great strategy. He would use a lot of takedowns and have a lot of time in control. But, as you know, at middleweight, Anderson, at his peak, had knockout power, was creative, brilliant,” described Bisping.

Former champion of the under-83,9kg category, Michael described a possible scenario for a positive result for the Brazilian legend. According to the Englishman, 'Spider' could win the victory based on a mistake by the Canadian.

“I think that, at some point between the third and fourth round, in a context where Anderson was losing, Georges would try for a takedown and would be hit by a knee, an elbow, a punch, a kick, something that would do Anderson Silva emerge victorious. And that. At his peak, I think Anderson would be the winner,” he concluded.
