Amanda Nunes surpasses Valentina Shevchenko and regains leadership of the UFC weight-for-pound ranking

The dominant victory over Julianna Pena in the main fight of UFC 277 yielded to Amanda nunes not only regaining the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg), but also regaining her position as the organization's best fighter.

In an update made this Tuesday (2) in the Ultimate rankings, the “Leoa” surpassed the flyweight champion (up to 56,7 kg) Valentina Shevchenko and took the lead in the weight-for-weight ranking, which includes athletes from all female categories.

In addition to the resumption of Amanda nunes: UFC 277 promoted other important changes in the organization's rankings.
