the dream of Kai Kara France to wear the interim flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg.) was interrupted by Brandon Moreno, last Saturday (30), in a fight valid for the UFC 277. After being knocked out with a kick to the ribs in the third round, the New Zealander spoke out on his social media. In the publication, he praises the Mexican and guarantees that he will turn the organization around.

“We've reached a point of defeat, but I'm not going anywhere. I'm still one of the best flyweights in the world. Congratulations to Brandon Moreno. You are a warrior! Special thanks to my team and coaches at City Kickboxing. To my friends and family back home, thank you for all your love and support. I'll be back. Proud to represent New Zealand on this world stage,” Kai wrote in his ‘Instagram' official.

In the fight, Kara-France had good moments and shook Moreno on his feet. The judges even marked balance in the scoring when the New Zealander ended up being surprised by a kick to the ribs, which made him 'lie down' in the octagon already giving up.

At 29 years old, Kai ‘hits the post’ in his first title opportunity in Ultimate. Professional since 2010, the athlete has a record of 24 positive results, ten negative results and one fight without result.
