Brandon Moreno suffered, but confirmed favoritism against Kai Kara France. In a tense and decisive fight in the third round, the Mexican landed a kick to the waist and knocked out the New Zealander in the UFC 277, an event that took place last Saturday (30). With the positive outcome, he won the interim belt and 'organized' a quadrilogy with Deiveson Figueiredo in December.
Brandon, therefore, wears the Ultimate belt again. The Mexican has a record of 19 triumphs, six setbacks and two unsuccessful fights.

The fight
Kara-France starts with control of the center of the cage, but the two athletes have not yet exchanged blows, with a lot of study. Moreno, however, responded with a cross to touch his rival's face. Kai then tried to shorten the fight, while Moreno scored single strikes and spun around the octagon.
Brandon, in the second round, started to loosen up his game more. In the center of the cage, the Mexican closed the distance and looked for the takedown, as well as approaching with combination striking. The fight remained balanced, with a good margin of balance between the two athletes.
Kara-France returned in the third round ready to take control of the center of the cage and punished Moreno with a large volume of strikes. Brandon, in turn, had a comprehensive eye cut and, even so, continued to counterattack his opponent. At a disadvantage, Brandon landed a kick to the waist to see Kai falling, already feeling pain. The Mexican still had time to punish before Herb Dean interrupted.
Moreno x Deiveson in Brazil?
Brandon, when asked about his next performance, did not adopt 'trash talk'. He said he had nothing against Deiveson, but asked to fight the Brazilian in December.
"I do not hate you. I have nothing against it. I forgive you and please forgive me if I have done anything to you, brother. Don't get confused. I want to fight you in December. I'm perfect, I fixed my teeth. Let’s fight in December, okay?”, challenged Moreno.
Deiveson, in turn, tried to accept the challenge for the quadrilogy. With the belt on his shoulders, the Brazilian stated that he wants to give the fans a great show and suggests that the fight take place in Brazil.
“We are going to put on a great show for you, you can be sure. It's his night, he deserves it and he's a great warrior. It's guys like him that I like to fight. Here are two fighters who are ready to put on a show for you at any time. I want to take this fight in Brazil. Let’s fight in Brazil now”, replied Figueiredo.
