One of the attractions on the starry card UFC 280, Sean O'Malley believes that his role will be even greater than the two belt fights scheduled for the event. In a press conference to present the show, which will be held on October 22nd, 'Sugar' said that his duel against Petr yan, will be more prominent than the main fight between Charles of the Bronx e Islam makhachev, for the lightweight title (up to 70,3kg).

“The UFC basically said that when they announced my fight, they saw the interaction, the engagement on social media and it just exploded. My fight is the most popular fight on the card. I'm not taking anything away from Charles (Do Bronx) vs. (Islam) Makhachev, that's going to be an insane fight, but me vs. (Petr) Yan? It's such an interesting fight. I’m a superstar,” O’Malley said.
