Paddy Pimblett promises categorical victory over Jordan Leavitt at UFC London: 'I'm going to hurt him'

The English prospect did not hide his irritation with his rival's statements and promised to take out his anger inside the Octagon

Belittled by Jordan Leavitt at the press conference before the UFC London, Paddy Pimblett he made no secret of the fact that he was irritated by his next rival's statements. On the 'Media Day' of the event that takes place this Saturday (23), the 'new Conor McGregor' admitted that he didn't like his opponent's stance and promised to hurt him during the confrontation.

“I've never been really upset before a fight. (Luigi) Vendramini and (Kazula) Vargas were respectful, as I was to them. He's a bit of a worm, and I'm going to beat him up for it. I never got into a fight once to hurt my opponent. I'm going to hurt him. If I get the chance, I'll elbow him open or smash his face in," Pimblett said.

Pimblett and Levitt will face each other on the main card of UFC London, which takes place next Saturday (23). In the main fight of the event, the English heavyweight prospect (up to 120,2kg) faces the North American Tom aspinall. The show will be held at the traditional O2 Arena.

Considered one of the organization's biggest prospects today, Paddy made his Ultimate debut in September 2021 and, since then, has won two victories, over Luigi Vendramini and Rodrigo kazula vargas, by knockout and submission, respectively. A professional since 2012, the English fighter is 27 years old and has a record in the sport of 18 triumphs and three setbacks. Pimblett is also a former champion of the local Cage Warriors event.
