After suffering a crushing defeat to Lauren Murphy No. UFC Long Island, the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) Miesha Tate showed that, apparently, she was not emotionally shaken. In a post made on her Instagram, 'Cupcake' congratulated her rival on her triumph last Saturday (16) and thanked her fans for their support.

“Some women would pay a lot of money for lips like these! All I had to do was get into a fight. Tonight was not my night, congratulations to Lauren Murphy and we continue to learn life's lessons. I am still blessed beyond the measure of win, lose or draw. Thank you to all those who continue to love and support me in any way, you know who you are,” he wrote Miesha Tate on your social network.

Tenth placed in the bantamweight rankings, Tate has not been successful in her return to MMA after returning from a five-year retirement. The American has won one victory and two defeats since then, and her performances do not resemble the period in which she was one of the greatest athletes in the 61,2kg division. 'Cupcake' has a record of 19 triumphs and nine setbacks as a professional.
