This Saturday (16), the Ultimate delegation leaves Las Vegas and arrives in the state of New York to hold the UFC Long Island. The event has 12 scheduled fights and will be headlined by Brian ortega e Yair Rodriguez. Brazil has two representatives, one on the preliminary card and the other on the main card.
Standouts in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.), Ortega and Rodriguez face an important clash for the division. The victor can qualify for a dream title fight against the champion Alexander Volkanovsky.
Brazilian promise in strawweight (up to 52,1kg.), Amanda lemos returns to the octagon for his second commitment in the 2022 season. Opponent of Michelle Waterson, the team from Pará seeks to erase the defeat suffered by Jessica Andrade, the 'Bate-Estaca', in April.
The first Tupiniquim to step into the octagon this weekend will be Herbert Burns. A featherweight representative, the fighter returns to competition after almost two years away from MMA due to a knee injury. This weekend, the athlete faces Bill Algeo in the first half of the show.
