The immense rivalry between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen seems to have been left behind. After two Spider victories inside the octagon, the controversial North American even praised the Brazilian on several occasions. Now, it was Anderson's turn to return the kindness and say that Chael is 'a good guy'.
“Chael talks a lot, but he’s a good guy. He's always in the media asking to fight. We've already fought for the belt twice and he also fought against Jones and Shogun. He works all the time for Dana White”, said the Brazilian in an interview with 'Whoa! TV'.
After Anderson's second victory over Sonnen, the Brazilian even invited his rival to his home for a barbecue. However, despite accepting the invitation, Chael did not appear at the promised get-together.
Anderson Silva returns to the octagon at UFC 168, an event that takes place on December 28, to try to regain the middleweight belt against Chris Weidman. Chael now faces his compatriot Rashad evans at UFC 167, November 16rd.
