The welterweight belt fight between the champion Georges St Pierre and the challenger John hendricks already has its mediator defined. Brazilian Mario Yamasaki was announced by the Nevada Athletic Commission as the central referee for the clash. The Brazilian will receive US$1.500, approximately R$3.375, to mediate the fight.
In addition to the central referee, the commission also informed the three judges who will be responsible for defining the winner of the fight if it reaches the end of the fifth round. Sal D'Amato, Glenn Trowbridge and Tony Weeks were designated to judge the clash.
The fight between Georges St Pierre e John hendricks will be the main attraction of UFC 167, an event that celebrates 20 years of Ultimate and is scheduled for the 16th, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
