King of the welterweights (up to 77kg.) of Ultimate, Kamaru Usman was one of the highlights behind the scenes of the UFC 276, held last Saturday (2). Number one in weight-for-pound terms in the organization, the athlete surprised by promoting a face-off with Jan Blachowicz and state that he is considering a test against the Polish 'giant' in the under-93kg group. The 'Nigerian Nightmare' made the record on social media.

Considered one of the best fighters in recent UFC history, Usman, however, has a commitment to defend his belt again. In August, the welterweight champion faces Leon edwards, something remembered by the athlete in his publication.
“Before (facing Blachowicz), I have to fight the Englishman”, he concluded.
At the top of the up to 77kg category. Since 2019, Kamaru has impressed with assured and convincing performances. To date, the Nigerian has defended his belt five times.
Quoted by Usman, Blachowicz remains without a confirmed fight for his second challenge in the 2022 season. Willing to regain the light heavyweight title, lost to Glover Teixeira last year, the combatant sought a clash against Jiri Prochazka, new 'king' of the division.
