Experiencing a moment of oscillation in his career, Mauritius Shogun wants to get back on track to winning ways and re-entertaining fans with good fights. The Brazilian, who starred with Dan Henderson the “Fight of the Year 2011”, recognizes that facing Hendo again is a desire of the public and wants to repeat the dose against the North American veteran.

“I fight whoever the UFC wants. I have no problems with it. Everyone wants me to fight the Dan Henderson again, and I want it too. Hendo is a good fighter and I respect him. I fight for the fans, for my family and for the UFC”, said Shogun, in an interview with the website “MMA Interviews”. In 2011, after five rounds, the Brazilian ended up defeated by Henderson in the judges' decision. At the time, Ultimate president Dana White declared the fight to be one of the best in history.

I'm training hard, because this fight is my life”, concluded the Curitiba.
