Alex Poatan criticizes Adesanya's performance at UFC 276: 'It didn't excite me'

After putting on a show and massacring Sean Strickland No. UFC 276, Alex Poatán watched the fight Israel adesanya from the first row. “I was very happy with my victory and Adesanya's, but he will have to be better than he was today. It didn't excite me and it didn't excite many people either. In the fourth round, I saw a lot of people leaving. Next time I’m going to make him fight and excite these people,” he said.

A Brazilian standout in the middleweight division, Poatan had a gala performance in the UFC 276. Opponent of Sean Strickland, the São Paulo native needed less than a round to deliver a devastating knockout, extending his unbeaten run in the company.

A likely title challenger, the Brazilian could once again share the battlefield with Israel. The athletes faced each other twice, under kickboxing rules. In clashes, the Tupiniquim came out on top, even achieving an epic knockout in 2017.
