The night was bad for Max Holloway. Former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg), the Hawaiian had a chance to regain his title, but lost for the third time to Alexander Volkanovsky, on the main card of UFC 276, event held this Saturday (2). And, in addition to the setback, the fighter left with a deep cut on his forehead and bled in the octagon.
After losing the first round, Holloway became more active and worked more strikes, but saw Volkanovski boxing in the cage. With a counter blow, in the second round, the Hawaiian suffered a cut on his eyebrow, which made it difficult for him to carry out his actions and he had to deal with the discomfort until the end. He, however, continued the fight and was defeated on points.
