In a ceremony held last Thursday (30), Daniel Cormier e Khabib Nurmagomedov were honored and officially introduced to the select list of the greatest in the history of the 'Modern Era' at International Fight Week, which takes place from June 27th to July 3rd, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
The fighters, who marked an era in Ultimate, posed for photos with the awards and are now joined by Georges St-Pierre, Rashad evans, Michael Bisping, Ronda Rousey, Urijah faber, B.J. Penn e Forrest griffin on the list promoted by the organization.

In the period between 2009 and 2020, Cormier had 26 fights, with 22 wins – including names like Anderson Silva, Stipe Miocic, Alexander Gustafson, Antonio Pezão, Anthony Johnson e Frank mir -, two defeats and a 'no result' fight. Now retired, Daniel works as a commentator on Ultimate broadcasts.
Khabib achieved a historic feat in his career in MMA. In addition to holding the lightweight title in the company, the Russian left the sport undefeated, with 29 consecutive victories. Professional in MMA between 2008 and 2020, the Russian enchanted part of the sport's fans with his pragmatic and unbeatable style. Along the way, he overcame Conor McGregor, Justin gaethje, Dustin poirier e Edson Barboza.
