Star of UFC 276, Israel adesanya is surprised by André Sergipano, who is scheduled to fight on the preliminary card with Uriah Hall next Saturday (2). In video on the official channel of 'YouTube', the Nigerian revealed that he didn't know the Brazilian, but was surprised to learn that he had finished Ronaldo Jacare.

“I don't know who this guy is (André Sergipano), but I know that Uriah Hall goes through ups and downs. When it's on, it goes well. But when the opposite happens, you can't do it. And this other guy I don't know. Let's see his record! Look, it's three wins in a row. And three submissions. He won Ronaldo Jacare? Where? In the middleweights? Did he finish Jacaré? Uhhh,” Adesanya said.

André Sergipano, in fact, is part of the same category as Adesanya, where he occupies 13th place in the middleweight category (up to 83,9kg.). In his career in the UFC, he has four fights and has not lost in the organization, with the highlight being the victory over Jacaré via submission, in a fight that broke his compatriot's arm with a key. The fighter faces Uriah Hall and tries to maintain an unbeaten run of eight consecutive victories.

Israel, in turn, shares the spotlight of the night with Jared Cannonier. The Nigerian has been middleweight champion since October 2019 and has never lost in the division. He now aims to defend his title for the fifth time in his career and has 22 positive results and just one negative result.
