The star's next opponent Jake Paul, the British Tommy Fury was prevented from entering the United States, the country where the fight will take place. According to the website 'TMZ', the brother of the world heavyweight champion was banned from entering America, due to an alleged connection with Irish criminal Daniel Kinahan, who is wanted by the local government for a series of crimes.

According to the publication, Tommy's ban was due to the Brit's links with Irish criminal Daniel Kinahan, who is wanted by the North American government for having committed a series of crimes, including cocaine trafficking. Recently, his brother Tyson was admitted to the United States for the same reason.

“I wanted to come here and set the record straight before anyone else tries. My team and I arrived at Heathrow Airport this morning ready for the press conference, ready to fly, and as soon as I entered the airport, I was pulled aside and told by the Homeland Security officer who was there that my ESTA (electronic system for travel authorization) had been denied and I was not able to travel to the United States for a reason that I apparently know,” Tommy said on his Instagram.

The Brit claimed innocence of any accusation and regretted the fact that he had to interrupt his training to go to the embassy to resolve this issue.

“I can stand here and say I did absolutely nothing wrong, and I have no idea why I can't travel to the United States. I've been training for the fight and, like I said, that's all I've been doing. I have no idea why they didn't let me travel today, nor did anyone on my team or my lawyers. So now I have to go to embassies and all that kind of stuff to try and sort this out. And I'm in the middle of training. I don't know why this happened today. It's a big shock for me and my entire team. Obviously, it is a problem that needs to be resolved. These problems with the government are much bigger than the fight at the moment, and I'm just trying to solve them”, concluded the Brit.

Still undefeated in professional boxing, with eight consecutive victories, Fury will face the biggest challenge of his short career on August 08th, against the rising star Jake Paul. If Tommy's problems with the North American government are resolved, the long-awaited clash will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
