In combat sports, when you think you've seen it all, something ends up surprising you next. In a rematch valid under MMA rules, Zuluzinho drew attention for not even throwing blows in the tepid encounter against the 'king of slap-in-the-face tournaments', Vasily Kamotsky. The Brazilian, in the end, was still defeated via the judges' decision.

In an excerpt highlighted by the profile @Matysek88 no 'Twitter', Zuluzinho and Kamotsky spend about a minute without trying to throw any blows. Vasily was circling the cage, while the Brazilian seemed to be waiting for a movement to try to react to the actions. The unusual scene, which took place in the second round, still had to be interrupted by the central referee, who charged the two athletes for more actions in the clash.

At the moment of interruption, it is possible to hear the celebration of the audience present, who also seemed dissatisfied with Zuluzinho and Kamotsky's passivity. The two fighters even had a rematch after a draw in a 'slap in the face' competition.

At 44 years old, Zuluzinho from Maranhão had the greatest moment of his career between 2005 and 2007 when he fought in the now defunct Pride event. Even with the bad record of three wins and one defeat in the Japanese organization, the Brazilian faced names like Rodrigo Minotauro and the Russian Fedor Emelianenko. The Brazilian athlete hung up his gloves with a record of 12 triumphs and 10 setbacks.
