Aldo and Barão's coach, Dedé Pederneiras will join BJ Penn's team at TUF 19

Brazilian appeared in photo published by Penn on Twitter; reality show debuts in the US in 2014

Considered one of the best MMA coaches on the planet, Nova União leader Dedé Pederneiras was confirmed as a member of the MMA technical team. B.J. Penn for the 19th season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter. The Brazilian, coach of José Aldo e Renan Barao, had already accepted the invitation previously and appeared in the official image of the Penn team, published by the fighter himself on his profile Twitter this Thursday (17).

In the photo, in addition to Pederneiras, the following appear: boxing trainer Jason Parillo, who has already worked with Vitor belfort; former UFC heavyweight champion Mark Coleman; and John Hackleman, coach of the future light heavyweight title challenger Glover Teixeira. The Brazilian was chosen by B.J. Penn to compose his team because he is his jiu-jitsu master. The North American fighter is recognized as one of the main names in the gentle art to step into the Ultimate octagon.

Recording for TUF 19 has already started, but the reality show will only debut in 2014, with no set date yet. The program will have rivals as coaches B.J. Penn e Frankie Edgar. The athletes have already faced each other twice for the UFC lightweight belt, both times won by Edgar in a unanimous decision by the judges. After the end of TUF, Penn and Edgar will face each other for the third time, in a fight valid for the featherweight category.
