First Brazilian representative on the main card of PFL #4 2022, event held this Friday (17), Raush Manfio had a warm fight against Olivier Aubin-Mercier. And, after being dominated for three rounds, the Brazilian ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the judges.
Champion of the 2021 season, Raush advances to the next phase, but his streak of five consecutive victories is broken. He has 15 wins and four losses.

Aubin-Mercier, in turn, reached the 15th victory in his career and managed to add six points. Now, the Canadian has a record of 15 positive results and five negative results.
The fight
The duel started warmly, with study between the two athletes. Raush was smaller and tried to reduce the difference in wingspan, while Aubin-Mercier controlled the distance. Olivier landed a strong kick to the waist, but Manfio absorbed the blow well.
Just like in the first round, the two athletes took little risk and entered their attempts with caution. However, in the middle of the round, Aubin-Mercier loosened up his game more and worked his strikes well within Manfio's range of action. The fight, even so, was booed by the public present.
Willing to guarantee his victory, Olivier did the basics and opted to tie up in the third round. He adopted the strategy of cornering Raush against the cage and worked on short strikes until the end.
