Number five in the light heavyweight rankings (up to 93kg), Anthony Smith harshly criticized the duel between Glover Teixeira e Jiri Prochazka, which happened in UFC 275. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the former category challenger criticized the two fighters and said that both had 'the worst performances of their lives'.

“To be honest, I think both of these guys had the worst performances of their lives at the same time. I really think so. For the first time, Glover looked a little old. For the first time in a while, because this isn't the Glover I know. This is not the one who turned the fight against Marreta around. I don't know what happened to this guy, but luckily for him, I think Prochazka also had one of his worst performances. They just made terrible decisions. Like fight IQ, if you had put that together, it wouldn't have been in the double digits during the fight. They both simply didn’t fight intelligently,” criticized Smith.
Fifth place in the category, 'Coração de Leão' is close to getting a new chance to fight for the light heavyweight title. Fueled by three consecutive victories, the North American will face the Russian Magomed Ankalayev. The match is scheduled for the UFC 277, which will take place on July 30th.
