In a chat with fans to promote the UFC 275, the Pole stated that he intends, at some point, to test himself against Jon Jones. Today, the phenomenon of the category up to 93kg. is preparing for his debut in the company's heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg).
“I will always be open to this fight, but not him (Jones). I'm going to knock him out in the first round”, said the Pole.
Present in Singapore last Saturday (11) to follow the confrontation between Glover Teixeira e Jiri Prochazka, Blachowicz closely followed the end of the Brazilian's reign. After the Czech's consecration, Jan even challenged the new champion personally.
In a press conference after the UFC 275, the belt owner did not rule out a confrontation against the Pole. The athlete, however, also indicated the possibility of a rematch with the Minas Gerais native.
Another Blachowicz target, Jon Jones has been out of light heavyweight since 2020. The biggest name in the history of the division, the North American is preparing for his long-awaited debut in the 120,2kg category. The legend, however, remains without an opponent or date for his debut.
