Jan Blachowicz didn't like the possible idea of a rematch between Jiri Prochazka e Glover Teixeira. The Pole, who was present in Singapore in the UFC 275 last Saturday (11), 'ignored' the Brazilian in the dispute and tried to challenge the Czech for a valid fight for the UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg) belt.

Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Jan will have to deal with competition from his own Glover Teixeira. The Brazilian, who had the advantage in the confrontation against Prochazka, was surprised by a rear naked choke in the final stretch and promptly asked for a new meeting.

Blachowicz is relying on Jiri's speech to get the challenge, as the Czech gave him priority when projecting a path to the under-93kg category belt. When wearing the belt, however, Prochazka chose not to target his next opponent and left his options open.

The Pole is coming off a victory over Alexsandar Rakic, in a duel that took place in May, when his opponent injured his knee and was unable to return to the fight. In his career, Jan now has a record of 29 positive results and nine negative results, in addition to occupying first place in the ranking.
